East Heights Fall Kick-Off and BBQ Dinner

Wednesday, August 11th, 6-8 p.m. in Hedrick Hall

Don’t miss this meaningful evening of food, fellowship, and faith building. Rev. Rick Saylor, Hutchinson D.S. will speak to us about “Christian Family Relationships.”  His talk will follow dinner and will kick off Rev. JC Kelley’s new sermon series on Building Healthy Relationships which begins Aug. 15. Displays in Hedrick Hall will feature classes and small groups coming up at East Heights this fall. Someone from each area of the church will be available to answer your questions and invite you to join in the life of the church through ministries, small groups, and Bible studies.

For children 5 years and older, we have special guests from Discovery Channel’s MythBusters. Following dinner, children 5 and up will join the Wizards from Faraday Studios in the Undercroft for fun and thought provoking demonstrations designed to get them thinking about the nature of the Holy Spirit. Their dinner ticket will also be their ticket to this special event

FREE NURSERY for infants through 4 years of age.
Dinner Cost:  Adults - $8; Children under 10 years - $5.
Dinner Tickets may be purchased in the Coffee Shop on Sundays
and in the church office weekdays.

Many families are unable to buy backpacks and school supplies for their children. To show them we care, we’ll gather donations of backpacks and school supplies until mid-August. You can drop off your donations in the box in Fellowship Lobby. Needed items include:
