PRAYER ROOM
In 2002, East Heights opened a prayer room on the west side of the Sanctuary for your sharing and growth in prayer. It is a dedicated space open every day for prayer.  Prayer requests from congregation members and others in our community are in placed in the prayer room so that all can participate in praying for them.  You may arrange for a regular time in the prayer room or come in as you are available.

Contact Beth Strickler at 682-6518 or beth@ehumc.org

SUNDAY MORNING PRAYER GROUP
in the Prayer Room from 8:15 - 8:30 a.m. every Sunday, our pastors gather with a small group of people to pray for the worship services and the ministries of East Heights. This is an open prayer group and all are invited to come and pray with and for our pastors and for the church.

Taize Prayer Services
Taize is a monastic community in France devoted to prayer and service. Their unique style of worship includes scripture reading, repetitive singing of simple prayer songs, meditation and prayer. Our Taize services are 30 minutes in length and are offered at Noon each Wednesday in Lent. Taize is a wonderfully refreshing and empowering time. Opportunities also exist for volunteers in Scripture reading, leading prayer and ushering. Contact Brenda Heard at 682-6518 for more information.
