Hunyani UMC is located in a low-income residential area of Zimbabwe and has a congregation numbering 890. It is the oldest church in the Chitungwiza area and was established in 1964. Currently headed by Rev Miriam Manyaya, 39, who is single, the circuit has grown and the congregation had filled the sanctuary to capacity hence the decision to expand the existing structure. Construction of the extension is underway.
