Taize Prayer Services (During Lent) - Chapel

Taize is a monastic community in France devoted to prayer and service. Their unique style of worship includes scripture reading, repetitive singing of simple prayer songs, meditation and prayer. Our Taize services are 30 minutes in length and are offered at 12:15 p.m. and 6:15 p.m. on the third Tuesday of each month during the season of Lent (The 40 days before Easter). Taize is a wonderfully refreshing and empowering time. Opportunities also exist for volunteers in Scripture reading, leading prayer and ushering. Contact Brenda Heard at 682-6518 for more information.
