East Heights United Methodist Women

Our UMW Purpose:
The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.

CELEBRATING 150 YEARS

United Methodist Women is the primary church organization for women of all ages at East Heights and around the world! We sponsor a variety of events and activities, including fundraisers for missions, preparing bereavement luncheons and receptions, and hosting speakers and luncheons.

For more information about East Heights United Methodist Women, contact Kerin Smith.

United Methodist Women Circles

One of the many ways to participate in UMW includes being part of a circle. By joining a circle, you’ll have the opportunity to develop friendships with other women as you serve and learn together. All our circles welcome you.

CHARITY CIRCLE Charity Circle is open to women who like to express their Christianity through service. Each month they tackle a new project such as hygiene kits for the homeless, stockings for the Children ‘s Home, volunteering annually at the Open Door Klothes Kloset as well as chores around the church once a year.. Meetings are very informal and project ideas are always welcome. The Charity Circle meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 9:30 am in the Covenant Room. Contact Trudy Sly at 644-0942 for more information.
