Casavant Pipe Organ

The sanctuary chancel organ was built by the firm Casavant Freres, of St. Hyacinthe, Quebec, Canada. Opus 2617 was installed in 1960 and was designed and voiced by Lawrence Phelps, then tonal director of the company.

The balcony/antiphonal organ is also by Casavant, Opus 3549, and was installed in 1981, a gift of the Pickrell family.  At that time, the chancel organ was enlarged and re-voiced, and a new 4-manual console was built.

The chancel console was later upgraded in 1994 with an SSL control system.

The balcony organ functions as the antiphonal division of the main chancel organ.
