Women’s Studies & Groups

East Heights offers a study class for women several times a year. Information is available on the Adult Education page.

MOMs (Mothers of Munchkins)

Mothers need a time to get away and fellowship with other moms, and the MOMs group is just the place! MOMs meet every Tuesday in the Covenant Room from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Children are cared for in the nursery while moms spend time together doing a variety of projects, listening to speakers, carrying out missions and just having fun.

Contact  Pastor Kim for more information about MOMs.

United Methodist Women Circles

One of the many ways to participate in UMW includes being part of a circle. By joining a circle, you’ll have the opportunity to develop friendships with other women as you serve and learn together. All our circles welcome you.

Charity Circle

Charity Circle is open to women who like to express their Christianity through service.
Each month they tackle a new project, such as making hygiene kits and scarves for the homeless. Meetings are very informal and project ideas are always welcome.
The Charity Circle meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 9:30 am in the Covenant Room.
Contact Trudy Sly at 744-8645 for more information.

Hope Circle

Hope Circle offers programs that include speakers on topics from local missions, social issues, book discussions and religious music.
Hope Circle meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 1:00 pm in the Dining Room.
Contact Beth Babb at 263-0615 .

Dorcas Circle

Dorcas Circle sews for others. Members bring their sewing supplies and make items to give away. Our name comes from a woman in the Bible who sewed for widows and orphans (see Acts 9:36-42).
Dorcas Circle meets throughout the year.
Contact Carolyn Kretzer at 685-8832 for upcoming sewing dates.
