Men's Bible Study begins Wednesday, September 9th, at 6:00 p.m.: In The New Testament You Never Knew by N.T. Wright and Michael Bird, we'll take a tour of the New Testament and explore what really happened in first-century Jerusalem and around the Sea of Galilee that changed the course of world history. You'll discover things you may have never known about Jesus, the meaning behind his parables and miracles, the significance of his death and resurrection, and the incredible expansion of the early church into the Greco-Roman world. Along the way, we'll see how the transforming mission of Jesus can still turn the world upside down today. Join Pastor Steve on this journey as we explore the story behind the New Testament, and why it still matters today.

Monday Night Bible Study: All are invited to join us on September 21st at 6:30 p.m. in the East Transept to being a new study, The Bible With and Without Jesus. Esteemed Bible scholars and teachers Amy -Jill Levine and Marc Z Brettler take readers on a guided tour of the most popular Hebrew Bible passages quoted in the New Testament to show what the texts meant in their original contests and then how Jews and Christians, overtime, understood those same texts. The study offers deeper understanding of the original narratives and their many afterlives. They show how the text speaks to different generations under changed circumstances and so illuminate the Bible’s ongoing significance. New members are always welcome!
